For the first time ever, visitors will be able to explore the lush world of the Sumatran tiger in the heart of London. Through immersive and interactive experiences Tiger Territory takes you closer than ever to the natural environment of one of natureís most awesome predators. Wide windows with lush foliage bring you right into the heart of the tigersí domain. Separated by a single pane of glass you will watchÖ and be watched.

Visitors to Tiger Territory will see Jae Jae and Melati in their stunning Indonesian-inspired habitat, which has been designed to meet every sensory need of these endangered animals.

ZSL London Zoo is home to world-leading tiger experts, and has been home to tigers for more than 100 years. The new 2,500sqm (27,000sqft) Tiger Territory has been created with ZSLís team of tiger keepers and conservationists to ensure that it perfectly suits the big cats.

Tigers are excellent climbers and like to observe their terrain from a towering vantage point and Tiger Territory will allow them to do just that. The exhibit features high feeding poles to encourage their natural predatory behaviours and tall trees for the cats to scale.

But thereís more in store. Head down to the beach and watch Londonís largest colony of Humboldt Penguins dive, swim, frolic and feed. Move through lush forested pathways and come face to face with the majestic Western Lowland Gorilla and wander from day through to night in Londonís only living rainforest among many others.

Daily events take place on site for visitors, including a selection of keeper talks, animal feeds and animal demonstrations. Come face to face with a whole host of animals at the Amphitheatre with Animals in Action or watch the penguins feed in Englandís biggest penguin pool with Penguin Beach Live! Feeling brave? Make your way down to the display lawn to catch a glimpse of some amazing birds in flight with Deadly Birds.

Disabled Access: Wheelchair access is available throughout the park however as the Zoo contains a lot of listed buildings some have minor restrictions.
