| Established in 1980, Café Des Amis is one of the oldest restaurants in Covent Garden. It has been recently refurbished and now is a modern stylish Brasserie and Wine Bar. The new summer terrace, heated on cooler days, offers Al Fresco dining Continental style.
Being only a few minutes walk from the Royal Opera House and a host of other theatres makes Café Des Amis an ideal location for pre and post theatre dining. Their weekly changing prix fix menu offers wonderful value.
Modern French menus include an extensive ‘A la Carte’; one can start with Lobster bisque with rouille, gruyère & croûtons, or Charcuterie of Denham Estate venison with fig and elderflower preserve.
The Wine Bar in the basement, open all day, offers a lighter alternative, from an omelette to a steak baguette or a wide and interesting selection from the extensive cheese board.
