Winner of the award for 'Best Value Restaurant in the UK' in the Good Food Guide 2009, the inspiration for the food and design comes from a modern interpretation of the many famous bistros found throughout Paris. Since the locals have turned away from overpriced and over-complicated cuisine in Paris' more formal restaurants, there has been a revived interest in returning to the simple basics of French bistro cooking.
The menu offers classic dishes including Steak Frites, Salad Niçoise, and free-range chicken from the Les Landes area of France. There are also lighter dishes such as Roast Sea Bass with olive oil mash and a garlic and tomato dressing, or Salmon Hollandaise. Crème Caramel and Crème Brûlée are the house specialities for dessert
